Common Identity Participate

Whether you're an experienced developer or an end user, there are many ways for you to participate in the Common Identity component. Join a mailing list to get help or help others, find and report bugs, create and submit patches, send your wish list for new features, or find other creative ways to contribute. Whatever you do, take a few minutes to discuss the Common Identity (Common Identity) with other users and become an active member of the Common Identity community.

Developers
Here is the location of the SVN forge project for the Common Identity. Download the code and build it.
Communicate
The best way to start getting involved is to first get signed up with the mailing lists and IRC channels. Go to the communicate link to get started join the bandit lists.
Improve or Localize a Site
This page is built by MediaWiki. The concept of a Wiki is that anybody may add and modify content. Please see the Bandit Wiki Project page if you want to contribute to our Wiki. On wiki help, find a quick tutorial if you're unfamiliar with Wikis. Please make sure that you follow the style guide.
Test the Common Identity and Report Bugs
You can help improve the Common Identity by finding and reporting bugs. Our bug tracking system, Bugzilla, is used for the Role Engine component. If you have never written a bug report, please refer to Bug Reporting FAQ to learn what kinds of information make the report most useful.
Develop Patches
The easiest way to participate in the development of Bandit is to post a patch as a suggested solution to an existing bug in Bugzilla. Each component has a maintainer, who will contact you to discuss your proposed solution. You may want to join one of our development mailing lists before you start coding in order to discuss your plans and coordinate with other developers.

Suggest New Software
You can suggest a new application in a special Component Wishlist. Please edit the table there and add your wishes. Only software with an OSI-compliant open-source license will be added to the Role Engine component.
Help Other Users
There are several active communities that help all levels of Bandit users. Please have a look at Communicate for an overview.
Get involved in Higgins
The Common Identity depends heavily on Higgins, any contributions there also benefit Bandit.
